Mirroring Apparatus

Mirroring is the psychological phenomenon of learning by repeating the behavior of others. This phenomenon is usually subconscious and unnoticed. We use this principle as an inspiration to infuse our interactive system with a human element that would reflect the pace and energy of the visitors. The behavior of the system at the moment of your arrival is the impression of the visitors before you. The project is a collaborative work that was created as an output of the workshop "Signal processing, interactivity and real-time media programming". The authors are students of Lighting Design at DIFA JAMU under the guidance of Lukáš Dřevjané.
