A valve that spews fluid - matter that is just the remelted energy of our resources. Resources that are energy for our lives, but finding a balance between the quality of life and the sustainability of resources is our challenge. The object is realized from a steel valve and shards of glass.
Michal Trpák lives and works in Č. Budějovice, among other things, he is the initiator and curator of the sculpture exhibition. Art in the city, which took place in 2023 for the 16th time in the streets of Č. Budějovice. He is a seeker who does not like the boundaries of disciplines, and therefore constantly crosses them or, preferably, erases them. That is why he can create dwellings, which he calls residential sculptures, paintings that are simultaneously paintings, sculptures and reliefs, or hide sculptures under the water of an old quarry. His art primarily wants to communicate. Communicate with the space, but also with people who, thanks to it, can begin to really perceive that space.
