"It doesn't matter that you can't sing!" is an interactive sound and light installation. It is set in motion by a microphone, which is processed by the auto-tune effect. The installation is inspired by the shift in rap and songwriting, where not quite proficient vocalists can sing with the help of technology and are able to create unique songs and express their emotions. In a society that does not sing, the creation of songs thus becomes an instrument of the majority again, and the stigma of fake singing does not play a role and opens up the possibility to sing even for individuals who do not have the physiological aptitude for singing.
