Terralóna

Brno Observatory and Planner

A unique photorealistic model of the planet Earth, this is Terralo. The real Earth has a diameter of 13 thousand kilometers, Terralón only 10 meters. On such a scale, Mount Everest would reach a height of 7 millimeters. In full reality, the International Space Station moves at an altitude of 400 km at a speed of 28,000 kilometers per hour. At Terralón, we would find this base at a height of 30 centimeters. Our Moon would be less than 4 meters in diameter and would move about three hundred meters away. The fact that the Sun would take the form of a sphere with a diameter of 1 kilometer, but it would be 120 kilometers away, ie roughly near Ostrava, testifies to how desolate the universe is. The terralo is rotated by 23 ° so that you can see Europe better when you look at it.
