"You look like..." is a sentence we hear from birth and its burden shapes us. What does it actually mean that we resemble someone in terms of facial features? That we are his version? Appearance can be a sum of external signs, shapes, forms, facial expressions, gestures, body movements, appearance or properties. Anyway, the resemblance to someone holds a mirror up to us that sometimes we don't want to see, but it can tell us a lot about ourselves. It can be a glimpse into the future in a way. An image is an identity that jumps across generations, families and communities. The work is its first version, a processing that consists of the morphing of the scanned and modified real forms of the author's mother, father and sister.
