The video triptych linking to emptied aesthetics, formality and the theme of overwhelming fashion and music videos, correlates with current visual trends pervading contemporary pop culture scene and current moods in young art. The unconventional linking of the video with the traditional and classic Norwegian fairytale with distinctive symbolic elements building on the popular wave of current thinking of the emerging generation of artists. The storyline of the fairytale highlights the recurring rituals and cycles in a woman's life in visual opposition to the mass market trends and the capitalist environment.
