Video installation of the project BRNO OPEN CLOSE GROUND / CO BRNO ZA-TRATÍ? The project "" Brno - Open Close Ground "" is an imagination manual that opens the space for revealing the potential and mutual relations in the area from the Brno rivers and their embankment to the viaduct and the city center. The project can be seen as a strategy for the urban transformation of this area, which is largely located in the post-industrial lowland. For unclear territory, typical blinds, brownfields, impenetrable arenas, the area is full of barriers, fences and dilapidated buildings and surprised. The current image of this territory is Close Ground close (closed, impenetrable) Close (close to the center). A new look at this area, Open Close ground, presents a map based on traditional narrative maps.

The diploma thesis was created by Bernd Vlay at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
