In the Gear - Kinetic Sculpture series, I focus on discovering the beauty of gears and their gears. In addition to its aesthetic value, the gear provides the transfer of kinetic energy from the motor to the rest of the building. The result is a sculpture - a technicistic organism animated by movement throughout its volume. Digital design together with 3D printing allows me to create precise parts necessary for the resulting functionality of the whole object.
