METAMORPHOSIS
Gabriel Bardon
The object is an artistic abstract rendition of the inner transformation of an individual who becomes a unique example for all mankind.
It is the PROTOTYPE of a new advanced being that is a true and truly sustainable analogy of progress.
For the development of society is not only determined by scientific, technological and technological progress, as most people now perceive, but also by the progress of mental, mental and spiritual abilities and values that are equally valuable and important.
And perhaps the true development of mankind will come only when we start to seek resources for progress in ourselves. Such a change of path does not mean losing the way we imagine modern comfortable life; on the contrary, our daily life will take place far beyond what is commonly imaginable for us today. This development of human abilities, as opposed to technical development, is sustainable in the long term also in the environmental sense and, moreover, in harmony with nature and the earth as a being in general.
What will people use telephones if they can communicate telepathically with each other? What will be the use of complicated medical devices if we recover from the power of our thoughts?
May this work of art be an incentive to such considerations that one can perceive the progress of society in another way. Let us think about the broader context of what current development gives us, but also what it takes. Isn't it time for a change?
