Brno Mini Maker Faire
accompanying program - festival
For this year's weekend program, we joined forces with the Brno Mini Maker Faire 2019 festival, where visitors can use the same ticket as for the Prototype festival. In addition, it is only a few steps from the Prototype to the DIY pavilion. On Friday, several projects will be presented as part of the festival's opening.
Maker Faire is the world's largest showcase of innovation, creativity and ingenuity for the whole family. It is a meeting of creative and curious people who enjoy trying new things and informally sharing knowledge and experience in a friendly environment.
A fun fair, but also a fair for makers where everyone can present their product, gadget, hack, experiment or hobby. Some of them present themselves for the first time publicly.
The panel will also include a panel discussion:
We know that Technical Education has become an important topic both in the sphere of primary and secondary education and at the political level and we are interested in how we, so called & #8220; from the bottom & #8220; We want to learn what are the barriers to extending teaching in this direction, what children would need to discover creativity, ability to work in a team, invent new solutions, etc. through technical solutions.
Guests:
Martina Šebková (3D printing expert)
